keep it sweet

I posted a little over a year ago about my brother and how I didn’t know what to do with him gone at school.  If only I knew then what I knew now—to take advantage of him not being home.  Now, we fight almost constantly.  This is what you get when you force two “adult” (I just turned 18 and he’s 19 now) siblings to share a room.  But now, I face a new prospect: after months of thinking that I was just going to stay in Hawaii for college, my dad has now said that if it’s possible to take out enough loans, I might be able to go to Oregon (which has been my ideal goal for about ten months now)!!  But, I don’t want to get my hopes up as I have been let down before and it is just utterly heartbreaking.  And if anything, I could always transfer next year… (don’t they always say that?)
